Spike Lee sold off early in the evening for the Palme d’Or, but whatever, the 2021 Cannes Film Festival as usual had many awards to offer. If you did not have time to follow our live on the ceremony, here is a little catch-up session to find out everything about the prize list:

Palme d’Or : Titanium, by director Julie Ducournau (France)

Grand Prize : A hero, by director Asghar Farhadi (Iran), and Hytti NRO 6 (Compartment NO.6), by director Juho Kuosmanen (Finland)

Jury Prize : Ahed’s knee, by director Nadav Lapid (Israel), and Memoria, by director Apichatpong Weerasethakul (Thailand)

Directing Award : director Leos Carax for Annette (France)

Best Actor Award : American actor Caleb Landry Jones in Nitram

Best Actress Award : Norwegian actress Renate Reinsve in Julie in 12 chapters

Screenplay Award : Director Ryusuke Hamaguchi for Drive my car (Japan)

Golden Camera : Murina, by director Antoneta Alamat Kusijanovic (Croatia)

Palme d’or for short film : All the crows in the world, by director Tang Yi (Hong Kong)
