With her exhibition “Shades of Sensuality” in 2016, Tina Trumpp made a name for herself in the nude photography scene almost overnight. This was followed by several solo exhibitions in Germany, Austria, Italy and Portugal. Her pictures have also been shown in countless group exhibitions at home and abroad. In 2021 she collected her work in the illustrated book “Seductions” – her first book publication.
But now the photo artist, born in 1974, has opened a new chapter. After photographing nudes for six years, she began painting large-format oil paintings, inspired by numerous museum visits. She noticed that almost all great painters dealt with nudes and nature.
She discovered a parallel to her work: in addition to nude photography, Trumpp himself has taken nature photos of lakes, mountains and seas on many trips over the years. She has now published this for the first time. “As with my nude photography, the silence and beauty of the subject matter,
“In this case, nature, in the foreground,” says the photographer. She took a lot of time to capture the perfect moment. “The waiting was almost meditative and really slowed me down.”
