Timelapse clip: ESA shows fascinating time-lapse video of the sun

Watch the video: Invisible to the naked eye – ESA shows fascinating time-lapse video of the sun.

Stunning time-lapse footage of the sun:

The European Space Agency ESA publishes this video on Youtube.

The image is captured by the Extreme Ultraviolet Imager, also known as the EUI, which consists of a series of remote sensing telescopes.

The clip shows the sun as the human eye cannot actually see it – at a wavelength of 17 nanometers.

The range that most people can see with the naked eye is approximately between 400 and 780 nanometers.

But thanks to modern technology, what is otherwise hidden from the eye becomes visible.
