This breathtaking time-lapse film shows the surface of the sun.
Deddy Dayag is the photographer and recorded the video.
To get that close to the sun, the Israeli uses two telescopes.
He films the sun for several hours that day –
and makes it clear with the time-lapse video that the sun is constantly changing.
Although the photographer has been observing the sun for two years, he is always fascinated by its uniqueness:
“I capture the sun because it is the most interesting and fascinating object that can be explored close enough from Earth.”
The sun is the most important source of energy.
It contains 99.8 percent of the mass of the solar system.
