Erica Herman, former companion and employee of Tiger Woods, is claiming the sum of 30 million dollars from the golfer as part of a lawsuit. According to an article USA Today media appeared this Saturday, the plaintiff’s lawyer Benjamin Hodas attacks the Tiger for sexual harassment, and he explained it in a document sent to the Florida Court on Friday.
“Mr. Woods was Mrs. Herman’s boss,” writes the lawyer in this document. By Mr. Woods’ own account, he imposed a confidentiality agreement on her as a condition of keeping her job when she began having sex with him. The confidentiality clause in question
The relationship between Woods and his ex-employee, which began in 2017, ended last October. Things escalated, and in December the world golf figure responded to the initial accusations by initiating confidential arbitration proceedings to resolve the dispute, under the terms of the clause they had signed. Except that Erica Herman does not remember having signed this document as it was presented by Woods’ lawyer.
The young woman then filed a lawsuit in a public court to ask to be released from this confidentiality clause, because this conflict involves a “dispute of sexual harassment”. Tiger Woods’ attorney, JB Murray, did not immediately comment.
