Tickets for the match of a potential Arsenal title are already snapped up at gold prices

There are still ten Premier League games to go but fans of Arsenal, who are eight points clear of second-placed Manchester City, are already believing in the title. As proof, the soaring prices of tickets to attend the Gunners’ potential title match scheduled against Wolverhampton on May 28 at the Emirates Stadium.

As RMC points out, the club began to market certain places which were snapped up in a few minutes. These were then seen by Arsenal fans on resale sites at prices ranging between 28,000 and 60,000 euros instead.

Suspicions of computer bots

The club suspects the use of software to obtain tickets instead of supporters while Arsenal has 42,000 subscribers for a stadium with 60,000 seats, hence the difficulty of obtaining seats.

“We recognize that demand for tickets is at unprecedented levels and we are working to combat the activities of bots and touts,” Arsenal said in a statement. No less than 100,000 suspicious bots have been deactivated from the ticketing site in recent weeks.
