The body of a three-year-old girl was discovered in a family washing machine in Paris last night, according to the Paris prosecutor’s office, which confirms information from the newspaper The Parisian. According to the daily, the macabre discovery was made by his father and a family member around 10:30 p.m. The child was then taken care of by the emergency services in a critical condition, and his death was declared around 11:30 p.m.
A source close to the investigation told the Parisian that the child bore no signs of beatings and that his death could be linked to suffocation. The father would have said according to this same source that the door of the washing machine was closed at the time of the discovery.
They would have looked for their daughter without finding her
On the circumstances of the tragedy, told by the father, the parents would have had dinner with one of their five children, while the other four went about their business. At the end of the meal, not seeing their daughter, they started looking for her, inside and outside the apartment. The father would have immediately called the Samu after the discovery.
According to the prosecution, an investigation into the causes of death has been opened, and the investigations have been entrusted to the brigade for the protection of minors.
