Three traffic lanes have been opened to cross Porte Maillot

This Friday, three lanes of traffic were opened, to cross the Porte Maillot in Paris in a straight line, announced News Paris. A straight line again makes it possible to cross the gate, between Paris and Neuilly-sur-Seine, without taking the roundabout.

Reopening in July 2023

From this Friday, two lanes connect Neuilly-sur-Seine to Paris, and a lane has been opened towards the ring road, from the Arc de Triomphe, explains Actu Paris. However, the construction of the extension of the RER E is still not finished. The square will be fully reopened to traffic in July. Two four lanes, including a lane reserved for buses in each direction, will open to motorized vehicles. The project foresees the creation of new green spaces and a better path for pedestrians and cyclists until 2024.
