Three people died in a fire in a building in Stains (Seine-Saint-Denis) on the night of Friday November 24 to Saturday November 25, the department prefecture said in a press release.
80 firefighters mobilized
The fire broke out in an apartment building, at 4 place du Colonel-Fabien. Three people died, eight were injured, including a child in absolute emergency and a firefighter. The latter was slightly injured during the intervention.
The extinguishing operations were completed this Saturday morning. In total, 80 firefighters and 24 engines were mobilized on site.
A reception center for disaster victims has been set up at the AnatoleFrance gymnasium, avenue Louis-Bordes.
An investigation is open to determine the causes of the fire.
