TV chef Tim Mälzer (53), presenter Elton (52) and entertainer Jens “Knossi” Knossalla (37) are taking on a new challenge together. As broadcaster RTL announced on Wednesday, the three celebrities will compete as a team against real Olympic champions, world champions and world record holders in the new primetime game show “Three against One – The Show of Champions”. According to the broadcaster’s statement, the respective disciplines are about “top sporting performances, memory acrobatics or just completely bizarre challenges.” The new show is moderated by Laura Wontorra (35).

RTL did not announce who exactly Mälzer, Knossi and Elton would be competing against in the individual episodes, nor an exact broadcast date. However, there would be a total of ten champions against whom the three would have to assert themselves. You can win up to 50,000 euros per show. The industry service “DWDL” reported on the upcoming show back in January “Three against one”. At that time, however, neither the protagonists nor details about the new show were known. According to the original article, the first episodes were recorded in Cologne on March 1st and 2nd.
