“This Life” by “Take That”: Barlow, Howard & Owen – Culture

Take That So now they look like one of those West Coast folk rock trios that are wrinkled with the end of hippiedom. Crosby, Stills and Nash, circa 1970. Marc Owen, left in the picture of the Zoom call: hair well over shoulder length, greyhound-narrow face, great, cackling laugh. Howard Donald, on the far right on the couch: bearded, fuzzy, a little grumpy perhaps, which doesn’t make the issue of the furrows that life has left on his face any more subtle. But the habitus is still as if it was freshly shuffled off the surf longboard. And in the middle, of course, Gary Barlow, who continues to look exactly like Gary Barlow, so perhaps still striving for a casualness that was never there before, but also reconciled with it. Especially compared to the other two, he seems to have stopped aging.
