An observer from Bloomberg noticed that the number of players from Sunflower Farmers was so strong that transactions were made on the Polygon network. It was surprising that just one game was able to make transactions on the network. The first was paralyzed.

According to an article by Bloomberg correspondent Olga Kharif, activity and transactions in the Sunflower Farmers game on the Polygon network have skyrocketed, causing exorbitant average gas costs.
As the data presented by the Polygonscan platform shows, in the first year of 2022 the Polygon network’s (MATIC) gas value has reached a record high.
On January 1st – 3rd, gas prices soared by more than 600% due to transactions made within the Sunflower Farmers community.
Today, users of the game make more than two million transactions on Polygon in 24 hours, making it the #1 gas consumer on the Polygon network, leaving no dust on USD Coin and MATIC transactions on the USD Coin and MATIC contracts.
Possibility to move to Terra or Solana.
As the game uses more than 70% of the resources on the Polygon network, some dApps users have even offered to petition them not to run Sunflower Farms on the Polygon network as it did on the Ethereum network in 2020-2021. As previously reported by U.Today, the Ethereum (ETH) network has experienced heavy transaction volumes due to Ponzi platforms, MMM Crypto, and Forsage.
