At the end everyone is in civilian clothes. People, not civil servants or functionaries. People who are allowed to use violence at work and have to endure a lot of violence, physical, psychological and verbal. “We’re just not the good guys anymore, right?” says one of the characters who spent a good hour and a half on the stage of the Festival Hall in Recklinghausen creating a very personal, perspective-rich and complicated picture of existence in the German police service. They often see themselves as the good guys, as people who enforce basic rights, often to their own detriment.
