Third philosophy festival in the Allgäu Alps – Munich

The Philosophy Association in the Allgäu Alps, based in Kempten, has set itself the goal of bringing philosophy to the public. His third philosophy festival, which takes place from June 22nd to 26th in Oberstdorf and the neighboring Kleinwalsertal, deals with the “Artificial Intelligence (AI) from a Philosophical Perspective”. For five days, experts will pursue the opportunities and dangers of AI in seminars, lectures, keynote speeches and discussions, and will also try to analyze which ethical guidelines are needed when dealing with AI. Klaus Mainzer, Emeritus of Excellence at the Technical University of Munich, who held the chair for philosophy and philosophy of science there for many years, received the Meckatzer Philosophy Prize of the festival, which is endowed with 5,000 euros.
