Thieves harvest 20 tons of apples – Bavaria

Thieves stole around 20 tons of apples from an orchard in the Schwandorf district in Upper Palatinate. According to the plantation owner, the previously unknown perpetrators harvested the apples that were still hanging on the trees, as the police announced on Sunday.

According to the police, only vehicles the maximum size of a van can enter the plantation. That’s why the officials assume that there must have been several perpetrators and cars to take them away.

According to the plantation, the theft caused damage in the mid four-digit range. The crime occurred between Thursday afternoon and Friday afternoon in the community of Dieterskirchen.
