Thierry Henry unveils his first list, with Zaire-Emery and a fire attack

The day after his first press conference as coach of the Espoirs, Thierry Henry delivered this Thursday the list of 23 players selected for the matches against Denmark (September 7 in a friendly) and Slovenia (the 11 for the start qualifying for the Euros in Slovenia).

PSG midfielder Warren Zaire-Emery, only 17, has been called up to this level for the first time. Not really a surprise, after Henry’s glowing words about her. At his side, the new coach has only retained a few players present during the Euro 2023 fiasco this summer (elimination in the quarterfinals), all born in 2002, including Rayan Cherki, Bradley Barcola, Arnaud Kalimuendo and Elye Wahi. An attack full of promise.

If he now has his players, Thierry Henry must, before Monday and the start of the rally, always complete his technical staff. The former striker will be assisted by Gérald Baticle and his former club team-mate, Gaël Clichy. He is about to find a goalkeeping coach (The Team indicates this Thursday that Jérémie Janot has signed), but he still has to find a physical trainer – who could be the former Blues and Real Madrid Greg Dupont.
