They create a game of 7 crazy families on the Covid-19

The Covid-19, the actor Christophe Pujol and the designer Monsieur K, who forms the duo JolK, have chosen to laugh about it. These artists from Hérault have created a game of 7 families which makes fun of the epidemic, through slightly crazy characters.

In particular the Rienafout, whose daughter made a hole in her mask, so as not to “fuck [son] gloss ”, the Lebon-Côtets, whose father is delighted that a nasopharyngeal test enabled him to find a pen stopper that he had lost in his snitch or the Flippets, whose son, an amateur football goalkeeper, asks the players to wash their hands with hydroalcoholic gel before entering the surface. Or Father Profitomax, who started an express delivery business for toilet rolls.

“Laugh at the different behaviors that we can have”

“I am an actor, and during confinement, I stayed at home … too long,” confides Christophe Pujol. I had to create. With Mr. K, by dint of following this news that is a little too anxiety-provoking, we said to ourselves that it might be a good idea to laugh at the different behaviors that we can have in relation to the virus. “By giving life, in drawings, to siblings all more wacky than the others, the duo quickly realized that a set of 7 families would be particularly suitable, to make fun of the epidemic.

About forty characters were born. Who, for the most part, look a little like us. “We almost all had a period when we were completely freaked out, another where we had ‘Nothing’, or another where, when we had a runny nose, we said to ourselves that we were going to die! », Smiles the actor. For total immersion, the authors even invite you to play while scrupulously respecting barrier gestures: “Each player must keep a distance of 1.50 meters from other players, wear a mask or visor, wash their hands before and after each draw, suggest the (health) rule of the game. People over 65 must play by videoconference. “

This funny game is on sale for ten euros in a collector’s version in several stores in downtown Montpellier, including Pomme de Reinette, En traits Libres, Excalibur, Chic et bohème and Lud’M. “The illustrations, the texts, it’s really excellent,” confides Lionel, the manager of the Excalibur store, specializing in board games. It’s so good that at the beginning, we spend more time reading the cards and laughing rather than playing! For DIY enthusiasts, the game is available for free, to print and to assemble yourself, on the online comic book magazine Mazette. A new version, which includes the Covid-19 vaccine, is in the works.
