PEOPLE – What to silence the rumors that have continued to swell for weeks? New images of Princess Kate were released this Monday evening, March 18, showing her smiling, next to her husband Prince William, at a farmers’ market in Windsor, west London.
On a video published in particular by the tabloid Sunand a clearer photo, we see Kate, 42 years old and whose health is worrying since a mysterious abdominal operation, walking with her hair down, dressed in black leggings and a sweater, smiling.
According to British media, these images of the princess and her husband, the heir to the British throne, were taken on Saturday in front of a local farmers’ market not far from their family residence in the countryside. Last Monday, Kate had already been photographed in a car with William.
Lots of crazy theories
Kate underwent major abdominal surgery on January 16. The Palace had warned that she would not return to her public functions before Easter. But the long absence of the princess, usually one of the most photographed women on the planet, has given rise to all kinds of theories.
The publication on March 10 of a photo of the Princess of Wales, all smiles and surrounded by her children for Mother’s Day, was to respond to this.
But the discovery of multiple edits on this photo, its withdrawal by five of the biggest press agencies (including AFP) which had published it, and the flat apologies from Kate, who took responsibility by saying “try your hand at publishing”had the completely opposite effect.
Kate will return to her role on April 17
Monday evening, the Sun accompanies the new images with a message addressed to the princess: “Good to see you Kate”he wrote on the front page of the newspaper. “This image will silence conspiracy theories”welcomes the Daily Mail. She will also “reassure fans of a good recovery” of the princess after her operation, adds the newspaper.
On social networks, many Internet users (serious or not) have assured that it is not Kate Middleton but a double. Theories already put forward in previous photographs published in the press in recent days.
According to Sun, Kate and William also attended a sporting event on Sunday in which their three children, George, Charlotte and Louis, participated. British media reported over the weekend and on Monday that Kate is not expected to return to public duties until April 17.
