Nove Mesto – The highlight of the 2023/24 Biathlon World Cup is approaching. The World Championships will take place in Nove Mesto, Czech Republic, from February 7th to 18th. After 2013, the city on the Bohemian-Moravian Highlands is hosting the World Cup for the second time. The organizers had previously tried unsuccessfully to apply for the 2019, 2021 and 2023 World Championships.

The new world champions are being sought again this year in twelve disciplines. The mixed relay opens on Wednesday, February 7th. The major biathlon event in Nove Mesto on Sunday, February 18th will be rounded off by the two mass starts. While a tight and open title race is predicted for the women, the Norwegian Johannes Thingnes Bö is the measure of all things for the men.

Which events of the 2024 Biathlon World Cup will be shown on free TV?

Good news for all Germans who are involved in the sport of biathlon: All events will be broadcast on free-to-air television. That means biathlon en masse for the next few weeks. Anyone who wants to follow the local and all other athletes will get their money’s worth.

ARD and ZDF share the competition days, Eurosport shows the full program. In addition, all three broadcasters offer the races in a live stream. All disciplines will be broadcast live. The stream on Eurosport is chargeable and can be received on the DAZN platform, among other places.
