The list of the best bars in the world for 2021 comes with a downer. The top 4 can be found in European countries, but again not in Germany – worse still: a German establishment did not even make it into the top 50. A trip to London, however, could be worthwhile. The Connaught Bar and Tayēr + Elementary Bar are currently the hottest spots on the scene.
And the Latin American bar scene is also still on the rise. With the Licorería Limantour, Mexico City not only occupies 8th place and with the Hanky Panky (12th place), the highest newcomer, a total of four bars in the metropolis and three in Buenos Aires make it onto the best list. But Asia is still big in the bar business: Singapore alone has six bars. Europe is home to 15 of the 50 best bars in the world.
