There is no life without fear, says Barbi Marković: A meeting. – Culture

If you watch people in the café after reading “Minihorror” with author Barbi Marković, you start to see mini-horror everywhere. Little dramas with sometimes fatal endings, like those that happen to the characters Mini and Miki in the book. For example: The waitress in the café on St.-Anna-Platz in Munich keeps serving cakes that Mini and Miki have to eat until they choke on them. A child steers his remote-controlled jeep accurately towards Mini, then a whole armada of small jeeps comes and runs over all the guests. The woman at the next table overhears the conversation between Mini and Miki and thinks it is unoriginal. Mini orders an extended drink and gets an espresso.
