Now cabaret artist Bruno Jonas can afford something. He has just used Cicero and Immanuel Kant to properly honor the now 85-year life’s work of the statesman Theo Waigel. Now the laudator Jonas can safely say that Waigel is a gifted teller of anecdotes – especially those that his listeners have already heard one time or another. For example, how Waigel conducted negotiations in the sauna with Russian President Boris Yeltsin. Or was it Gorbachev? Some in the audience are pretty sure there are both options.
