“Identities” is the motto for the coming season at Theater Regensburg. When the program for the 2023/24 season was presented, not only 30 premieres were presented, but also the future general music director of the house: Stefan Veselka will take over the office and the post of chief conductor of the Regensburg Philharmonic Orchestra.
The Norwegian conductor and pianist prevailed over more than 140 applications. Chin-Chao Lin’s successor is currently Professor of Orchestra and Ensemble Conducting at the University of the Arts in Bremen.
