The incident on Wednesday evening on line 4 of the metro, during which hundreds of people were stuck for almost two hours in a train without air conditioning, left a bitter taste for these users and revived some concerns about the smooth running of the network, and this, more particularly on the automatic lines which seem to be more affected than the others. One year before the 2024 Summer Olympics are held in Paris, many are wondering about the ability of the region’s public transport networks to hold up and offer a decent service in the face of the influx of visitors expected to the occasion.
