Britney Spears’ autobiography caused quite a stir even before it was published. Now the wait is over.

Pop icon Britney Spears (41) will publish her highly anticipated autobiography on Tuesday. “The Woman in Me” will then be published simultaneously in the original English and in German by Penguin Verlag.

“I worked on this book with a lot of love and with all the emotions that go with it,” the US singer said. “Reliving it all over again was exciting, heartbreaking and emotional – to say the least.” The audio book for the memoirs is mostly read in the original English version by the US actress Michelle Williams.

Spears, who has received multiple platinum records and Grammy Awards, is one of the most successful artists in music history. In 2008, her father Jamie Spears took over guardianship of the musician after she had a mental breakdown due to private and professional problems. In 2021, Spears was released from this guardianship after a long legal battle.
