The witness tracks the burglars and participates in their arrest

Two men aged 36 and 39 were arrested on Wednesday near Fougères (Ille-et-Vilaine), northeast of Rennes, after being caught committing what appeared to be a burglary. It was a local resident who spotted the two suspects in the town of Gosné, about thirty kilometers from Fougères.

The witness then did not just warn the gendarmes: he took his car and decided to discreetly follow the vehicle of the two men, reports West France. He then continued to call the gendarmes, informing them of the movement of the suspects, until their arrest on the road.

In the vehicle, the police actually found stolen objects, including jewelry. The witness was thanked by the national gendarmerie, as well as by the Gosné town hallprecise West France.
