“The Voice of Germany”: Thore Schölermann is canceled – for “a good reason”
Thore Schölermann is canceled for the semifinals of “The Voice of Germany”.

Moderator Thore Schölermann is an integral part of the inventory of “The Voice of Germany” – but this coming Sunday he will surprisingly fail. Schölermann is very happy about the reason, however, because he is going to be a father.
Fans of “The Voice of Germany” will have to be prepared for a surprise at the semi-finals next Sunday: presenter and fan favorite Thore Schölermann will not be on the show. The moderator revealed this at the end of the last broadcast.
The reason for his absence is definitely a nice one: “You will be there again next Sunday, unfortunately I will not – because I will be dad and I would like to be with my wife”, he said at the end of the last broadcast. He and his wife Jana Schölermann published on Instagram in July that they are expecting offspring for the first time. “Estimated arrival time: December 2021,” said the post. Your dog together will no longer be an “only child”.
Lena Gercke on Thore Schölermann’s failure at “TVoG”: “The best reason not to come”
In addition to Schölermann, his co-presenter Lena Gercke usually also guides through the show. Gercke is happy about the good reason for the failure of her colleague: “That is also the best reason not to come.” It is still unclear whether the 33-year-old will moderate the semi-finals alone or whether there will be a replacement for Schölermann. The broadcaster was initially unable to answer a request from the news agency “spot on news”.
