The 13th.”“The Voice of Germany” season is in the starting blocks. From September 21, 2023, the show can be seen every Thursday on ProSieben and Fridays on Sat.1. The music show in which well-known musicians coach the participating talents and they ideally accompanying them to victory, was the springboard for their music careers for some candidates.

Michael Schulte

At the end of 2011, Michael Schulte (33) was a candidate on the show. He joined the Rea Garvey (50) team and made it into the live shows in 2012. In the final of the best four talents, he ultimately took third place. He then released his album “Wide Awake”. This was followed by participation in the Eurovision Song Contest in Lisbon in 2018, where he took an impressive fourth place for Germany with “You Let Me Walk Alone”. In 2020 he celebrated a small “The Voice” comeback as coach of the Comeback Stage, which offered a second chance for talents who had been eliminated. In 2022 he also appeared on the “The Voice” stage with Max Giesinger, and together they performed their duet “More To This Life” in the semifinals. At the end of September 2023, Schulte will release his seventh album, “Remember Me”.

Max Giesinger

In season one, Max Giesinger (34) also made it to the final. His coach was Xavier Naidoo (51). In February 2012 he reached fourth place behind his friend Michael Schulte. The two finalists then founded a men’s shared apartment that would last for many years, first in Mannheim and later in the middle of the Hamburg neighborhood. This was followed by his debut album “Learn to Run” and his second record “The Boy Who Runs”, which featured his hit “80 Million”. In November 2021 he released his fourth studio album, “Vier”. He not only remained loyal to “The Voice Universe” through the appearance with Schulte in 2022, he was a coach on “The Voice Kids” twice.

Ivy Quainoo

The winner of the first season was also able to gain a foothold in the music business: Ivy Quainoo (31) won in Team BossHoss and then released her single “Do You Like What You See” and her first album “Ivy”.
