The Voice – “I almost feel sorry for them”, “What are they waiting for?”, “They are making up the numbers”, “A scam”: Internet users very critical of Bigflo and Oli

There are days with… and days without. This Saturday evening, Zazie, Vianney, Mika, Bigflo and Oli, Camille Lellouche and Nikos Aliagas continue the blind audition session for the 13th season “The Voice”, broadcast on TF1. Last week, Internet users were amazed by the level of the first talents of this new season and, this evening, it is the same: the performances follow one another and many users of X (formerly Twitter) already seem to have found their winner in the person of Oléma, a 27-year-old engineer from Saint-Maur-des-Fossés (Val-de-Marne), whose performance was widely teased on social networks even before the launch of this new edition of the Singing contest. The young woman made an important decision in recent months: to leave her job to be able to devote herself fully to music. “Leaving my job was a difficult decision but an obvious one too. When I make music, I feel capable of doing anything, of saying anything.” explained the young artist in an interview, a few moments before going on stage. For her audition, she chose to cover the title “Mad World” by Tears for Fears. A lunar performance which was unanimous among the coaches. After a lot of hesitation, Oléma chose to join Mika’s team, who did not (at all) hide her joy. Among the other talents of the evening: Mia, who opened the ball of this second session of blind auditions and who touched Mika’s heart with her cover of “Call Out My Name” by The Weeknd, the sparkling Julia who performed “Belle” by Lisa Parente. An interpretation which did not seduce Mika, Vianney, Zazie and Bigflo and Oli but… Camille Lellouche. The young singer will thus participate in “The Voice Comeback”, the parallel competition available only on TF1+. Dalida was entitled to a tribute thanks to the performance of Baptiste Sartoria who totally appropriated the title “Die on stage”: a crazy reinterpretation which recalled the madness of a certain Julien Doré a few years ago, on the scene from Nouvelle Star. The young artist was treated to four chairs turned over… and joined Vianney.

“Assume your personalities and your choices!”

All these talents escaped Bigflo and Oli. This evening, the French rap group from Toulouse had a hard time convincing the artists who presented themselves to them. Whose fault is it ? To the talent of their fellow jurors: “I will explain to you the profiles that we have this year. (…) Here, friends, we are faced with three assassins who have three different techniques: the first is Vianney. Vianney also called “the barker”. Second, we are facing Zazie. Zazie, I will call him “the reaper”. The third profile, I present to you: in addition, he is dressed in green, I nickname him “the snake“. I noticed Mika: he observes a lot and he waits and at one point… tack, he bites you! You are three very dangerous assassins!” explained Bigflo at length to the audience at the end of Baptiste Sartoria’s performance, who had just chosen Vianney to continue the adventure. It was not until the end of the evening that a talent chose the two brothers as coaches. After her captivating cover of “No Surprises” by Radiohead, the hypersensitive Sahteene has indeed chosen to join Bigflo and Oli. However, many Internet users have questioned the attitude of the rappers in the show: some believe that they are slow to buzz and others think that their singing advice is not appropriate.
