The violent thunderstorms in the north of the department lead to about sixty interventions

The north of Isère was affected by violent thunderstorms overnight from Sunday to Monday, as France 3 Auvergne Rhône-Alpes tells us.

From the start of the evening, hailstones the size of a walnut fell in particular near Saint-Marcel-Bel-Accueil or at Isle-d’Abeau. Downpours were also reported near Saint-Jean-de-Bournay. The photos and videos posted on social networks bear witness to the violence of the stormy episode.

In total, the Isère firefighters intervened about sixty times, mainly for flooding in private homes. The sectors of Vienne, Saint-Quentin-Fallavier and Bourgoin-Jallieu have concentrated most of their interventions. No injuries were to be deplored this Monday morning.
