The US artist Jenny Holz is exhibiting at the K21 in Düsseldorf – Culture

From

Alexander Menden

A wide cone made of bones is piled up on the bel floor of the Düsseldorf Estates House. A neatly delimited, but at the same time seemingly barbaric accumulation of human parts. In the mid-1990s, Jenny Holzer realized that she could no longer rely on language alone. The artist, who became famous in the 1970s with her word cascades on the “Truism” posters and the “Inflammatory Essays”, therefore used skeletonized material in part of her installation “Lustmord” (1993/94).
