The unwanted Rafinha leaves Paris for Qatar and Al-Arabi

Mauro Icardi, who is currently thinking about his future under the Florida sun, will feel very alone in the Parisian loft. Rafinha managed to get out of it by committing to Al Arabi for two seasons. The Qatar club announced the signing of the Brazilian midfielder on Saturday evening, after the latter terminated his last year of contract with PSG.

The younger brother of Thiago Alcantara (Liverpool) never managed to win in the capital where he arrived free in 2020, for a very light record of 39 games and zero goals. He was loaned to Real Sociedad last season.

Big laundry, but few sales

During the transfer window which ended Thursday at 11 p.m., Paris managed to get around ten players from whom it no longer counted. But the majority of his departures are loans (Wijnaldum, Herrera, Dina-Ebimbe, Paredes, Draxler, Kurzawa, Diallo, Dagba, Draxler), for only five permanent transfers (Areola, Kehrer, Bulka, Gueye, Kalimuendo). As for Keylor Navas, relegated as Gianluigi Donnarumma’s understudy, he announced his wish to stay at PSG, despite advanced contacts with Naples.
