A total of 191 Uniswap (UNI) token holders voted “Agree” on Polygon’s proposal to launch DEX on zkEVM. The proposal to launch Uniswap v3 on zkEVM reached the required 40 million vote threshold to allow it. Offer passed with more than 42.4 million votes in support.

According to Polygon’s head of business development, Jack Melnick, now is a “good time” to make Uniswap v3 available on Polygon’s zkEVM, as it is “EVM equivalent,” meaning there is no need to recompile EVM smart contracts.
