The Ukrainian ambassador to Germany, Andriy Melnyk, is apparently about to return to Kyiv. Even if he has not yet confirmed this when asked, Ukrainian government circles have said that Melnyk could give up his post as a diplomat in Berlin by autumn at the latest – and possibly become deputy foreign minister in Kyiv.
