The trial against a false vaccinator before the district court in Traunstein continues. Contrary to what had been planned, the closing arguments were not held on Thursday and the verdict was therefore not passed. Instead, the presiding judge set further trial dates well into July. The reason for this is various requests for evidence from the defense. Among other things, she wants to discuss how long the accused’s boss in one of the vaccination centers could have had the suspicion that his employee might not be a real doctor.
The public prosecutor’s office accuses the theologian of having vaccinated more than 300 people in Upper Bavaria against Corona with a forged license and without a doctor’s license and to have monitored the vaccination of hundreds of others.
At the start of the trial in February, the 50-year-old largely admitted the allegations made by the prosecution. It was correct that he used a false doctorate, forged a license to practice medicine and thus wrongly administered a vaccine, he said through his lawyers. Last but not least, it was important to him to have a job, to feel needed – and also to contribute to the livelihood.
The charges include dangerous bodily harm, forgery and misuse of titles. According to the public prosecutor’s office, the man himself had injected at least 306 people without a doctor’s license and supervised injections by medical professionals in 1,144 cases. The man worked in the Rosenheim vaccination center and in the Karlsfeld vaccination center in the Dachau district, as well as with mobile vaccination teams – for example in nursing homes. According to the investigators, no one suffered any health damage.
