“The traitors – trust no one!”: That’s what the new RTL crime show is about

This show was already a great success in the Netherlands, and now the format can also be seen in Germany. In “The Traitors – Trust No One!” 16 celebrities move into a castle in France. Three of the participants are designated as traitors by presenter Sonja Zietlow – they are allowed to “murder” one person every night, i.e. throw them out of the show.

While the audience is in the picture from the start, the other candidates are in the dark and have to try to unmask the murderers. This happens in daily discussion groups: everyone can vote together on who should be excluded from the show – including the traitors. This constellation ensures that distrust among each other grows. The prize money of up to 50,000 euros only flows if all traitors have been exposed by the last episode.

“The Traitors – Trust No One!” starts on September 20th on RTL. A total of six episodes, every Wednesday from 8:15 p.m. The show starts on RTL+ a week earlier, on September 13th, with a double episode. Further episodes are always streamed weekly.

Editor’s note: Stern is part of RTL Deutschland.
