In many, many hours, the SPD, Greens and FDP put together a paper that remains vague on some issues and contains nothing new on others. Politically, this primarily harms the Greens.

The day after, as always, there are only winners. Who likes to spend 30 hours in the coalition committee only to end up empty-handed? But this time it really demands a lot from one of the three traffic light parties: the Greens. The joint paper “modernization package for climate protection and planning acceleration” scolds itself. But it doesn’t have much to do with climate protection. And what is modern has always been in the eye of the beholder.
