1 – The service
Originally, the service is a purely functional element. This small piece of furniture on casters is used to serve and remove the table – hence its name. However, people have been enjoying using it for a long time, particularly in small spaces.
In a small apartment, the trolley can find its place in the kitchen or in the bathroom, where it is very useful for storing as many things as possible. It can also be used in the living room, where it can serve as a bar or mini-library.
2 – The round table
The round table is one of the preferred choices in small spaces, because it allows you to accommodate a maximum number of guests for a minimum of space. It is therefore frequently chosen to create a small, friendly dining area.
The secret: Finding the right configuration. We therefore do not hesitate to use our imagination to best adapt to the configuration of the room. For example, it can be installed in a corner, in combination with benches, which can also serve as storage space.
3 – The bar
The island is a must for a more spacious kitchen. And it is an effective way to structure space in an open kitchen.
Although more compact than a kitchen island, the bar fulfills the same functions – by separating the kitchen from the living area, and by providing a work surface and additional storage. It is the ideal complement to a kitchenette.
4 – The wall panel
The number one rule for optimizing space in a small apartment is of course to identify each location that can be exploited. We target so-called “lost” spaces, such as corners or the location under the stairs or in front of the window. And we certainly don’t neglect the wall surface!
To create a compact but functional office, or to have a well-equipped bathroom, consider wall panels, which provide more varied storage than traditional shelves.
5 – A modular storage solution
