“The Theory of Everything” in the cinema: When everything doesn’t matter – culture

So there is this young doctoral student in physics, Johannes, from the far north. One day in 1962, this young man (Jan Bülow) sets off with his doctoral supervisor to a conference in the Swiss Alps. The professor is a bitter old man and thinks little of the boy’s dissertation, which is about quantum mechanics and is entitled “The Theory of the Universal Wave Function.”
