He tells this story to anyone who wants to know what it’s like with Alfred Hettmer and the audience: Some time ago he was at the DFB Cup final in front of the stadium in Berlin. He was in the Bayern jersey. Then a man who was with a group of Dortmund fans yelled at him. “Hey! You!” the “closet man” yelled and charged at him, “You there!”. At first it looked like trouble, but then the man yelled: “Say hello to Rudi Cerne and the whole team. You’re doing a great show.” Simply incredible, says Alfred Hettmer, how many people can remember voices and faces.
