After a hiatus last season, Frank Rosin is returning to The Taste in Fall 2023.

After a hiatus in season eleven: Frank Rosin (57) returns as a judge for the new episodes of “The Taste”. This was announced by Sat.1 in a press release. The TV chef had suspended for the first time in the last season in spring 2023, he was represented by Nelson Müller (44). Otherwise, Rosin has been in all rounds of the cooking casting show since it started in 2013.

“The short break was good for me, I had time for other projects,” quotes the broadcaster Frank Rosin. “But then I realized it was too early to give up,” the celebrity chef continued. He is now looking forward to “inspiring chefs”. The 12th season of “The Taste” will start in autumn, an exact date has not yet been announced.

Frank Rosin wants first win against proven competitors

Frank Rosin steps into the ring against proven coaches in the new episodes. Alexander Herrmann (52), Alexander Kumptner (40) and Tim Raue (49) want to help their candidates win. The quartet has been judging “The Taste” since season eight, with the brief exception of season eleven.

For Frank Rosin, a triumph over his colleagues would be the first win in the history of “The Taste”. He is the only one from the current squad who has not yet managed to coach a protégé to win.

Tim Raue won the last three seasons. Alexander Herrmann, who was the only chef to date in all seasons, also won three times. Alexander Kumptner was able to succeed once.
