Thomas Gottschalk and Mike Krüger get an anniversary show from RTL for the 40th “Supernasen” anniversary. What can viewers expect?
On January 14, 1982, “Pirate Station Powerplay” premiered. The first “Supernasen” film starring Thomas Gottschalk (72) and Mike Krüger (70) is now celebrating its 40th anniversary and RTL is honoring the two entertainers with an anniversary show (Saturday, August 20, 2022 at 8:15 p.m.). , also at RTL+). That’s what the viewers can expect in “40 years of super noses – with Mike Krüger & Thomas Gottschalk”.
The show from the Admiralspalast in Berlin, recorded in front of an audience on August 16, will be moderated by Laura Wontorra (33). A “big party with live music from the eighties, funny gags and activities like ‘The Super Nose Quiz’ or ‘Sayings Bingo'” has been announced. There are also a few surprises waiting for Gottschalk and Krüger and they are joined by prominent guests, companions and “Supernasen” fans.
“You know from the super noses that Mike was the esthete and I was the beautiful one – we’ve kept that up to this day, which you can and should see for yourself personally at the big night of the ‘super noses’ on RTL,” explains Thomas Gottschalk in a statement . His colleague Krüger adds jokingly: “On August 20, we’re celebrating ’40 years of super noses’, 40 years of subtlety, enjoyment of art and the wild freedom of the 80s. A time without gender, tinder or influencers – instead with dazzlers, weirdos and influenza.”
Documentary and radio show
After the show, RTL will show the 45-minute documentary “Mein Papa, die Supernase!” at 11 p.m. The cult surrounding the “Supernasen” films is illuminated from the point of view of Gottschalk’s son Roman (39). He travels from the USA to Wörthersee and is in front of the cameras with his father for the first time. Together with Mike Krüger, they visit film locations and meet extras and companions. Among others, Otti Fischer, Michael Winslow, Heino, Otto Retzer, Julia Kent, Saskia Valencia, John Jürgens and Ankie Beilke Lau are in front of the camera.
In addition, Mike Krüger and Thomas Gottschalk will grace the RTL radio stations with their voices. For the first time, the two are together again at the radio microphone. The duo will take a seat in the van from the Supernasen cult film “Pirate Station Powerplay” to produce a radio show. The topics are films, music and the 80s and musically the two devote themselves to their favorite songs. RTL is also showing “Pirate Station Powerplay V2.0 – Mit Mike & Thommy” on TV on the Saturday of the anniversary show at 00:00.
