The management of parking in Paris by private companies is not a long calm river and got off to a very bad start. The reason ? Fight fraudsters more effectively and ensure a higher fine recovery rate. A major fraud
In the process, the company is carrying out an internal investigation, in particular to find out whether these reports were drawn up by sworn agents, condition sine qua non to issue a fine, and if the checks had not been orchestrated from their office, to comply with the specifications of the town hall of Paris. At the same time, fifteen days after the revelation of the affair, the Paris prosecutor’s office opened an investigation for forgery and fraud, led by specialized police officers from the astute repression brigade (BRDA).
