The “Stories from the Big City” return for a unique evening of remembrance on November 24th at the Monacensia, as part of the Literature Festival. It is the word “unique” that is extremely frustrating here. But it’s probably a bit like Annette Kolb’s Munich novel “The Swing”, where it says “broken is broken, nothing can be repaired!”. It was nice. But over is over! This also applies to the legendary Munich reading stage in Kilombo. It ended in January 2007. And not because the Saturday evening series had died out after five years or because people had stayed away.
