“I feel like a girl since I was little”

20 minutes puts a big tackle on prejudices by returning to the course of Alexia Cerenys, the first transgender player to evolve in Elite, in the club of Lons Section Paloise, in the Pyrénées-Atlantiques. Aged 36, the young woman is certainly not selected for the France team, but she has been making the club’s heyday since 2018, after playing for men in her early youth, in Mont-de-Marsan and in Perigueux.

In 2014, she chose to have surgery. “I’ve felt like a girl since I was little,” she explains. After some controversy over her physique when she started with the girls of Mont-de-Marsan, the young woman is now fully integrated and is pursuing a radiant career. Find his interview in this podcast.
