Media has never been more important to people than it is now. But when you come to terms with what happened in these times of crisis, another side of this closeness becomes apparent: “After a few days I just couldn’t stand the constant noise anymore,” reports one of our study participants, who soon became tired of reporting on Ukraine. The 42-year-old office worker from Lower Saxony says that the many reports and special programs about the war are “pulling her down”: “It’s enough, I can’t take it anymore!”
