The 17-year-old showman, seriously injured in the head, at Luna Park in Cap d’Agde (Hérault), on the night of Tuesday to Wednesday, was well employed without being declared, confirmed once again the parquet floor of Béziers, in a press release.
The manager of the attraction, who was heard by the police, admitted in turn that “the victim was in a situation of concealed work”. His 22-year-old son, who was in charge of the carousel at the time, had already told the investigators the day before. The two showmen were released at the end of their police custody.
Violently hit on the head
The young victim, whose life is still in danger, was violently hit in the head by a basket of this attraction, consisting of an arm rotating two eight-seater baskets, while he was still occupied by users.
It was in this same park, on the night of August 5 to 6, that a 17-year-old boy died, the victim of a merry-go-round accident. A 19-year-old woman was also injured. At Luna Park in Cap d’Agde, the two attractions involved in these two separate cases have been closed for the purposes of the investigations.
