“The search system for the body of Emile Soleil set up in the territory of the commune of Haut-Vernet from March 30, 2024 following the discovery of bones by a walker was up today at 3:35 p.m., announced, Wednesday April 10, the public prosecutor of Aix-en-Provence. A new bone fragment of the boy who disappeared at the beginning of July in the hamlet of Haut-Vernet (Alpes-de-Haute-Provence), was discovered near the place where his skull and then his clothes were found about ten days ago by a resident.
“From now on, the judicial investigation will continue in the light of the results of the discoveries made and the ongoing expertise with the aim of determining the circumstances of Emile’s death. Also, it is important that the serenity of the investigation be preserved, as must be the tranquility of the child’s family and the inhabitants of Haut-Vernet”added the prosecutor.
