Luis Stitzinger, 54, had been missing in the Himalayas on Kangchenjunga, the third highest mountain in the world at 8,586 meters, since Thursday evening. A rescue team could only be flown to the base camp by helicopter on Monday morning, before which thick fog prevented the flight. The team of five Sherpa guides found the missing person’s body on Tuesday above 8,000 meters, exact details of the death are not yet known.
