The Scientific Council referred to the executive the “eminently political” decision to postpone regional and departmental elections again, in a very mixed opinion on health issues, sent to the Prime Minister on Monday. The executive had previously indicated that it was following the advice of the Scientific Council on this issue. Back to the sender then.
“As provided by law, the government will submit to Parliament by April 1 a report on the basis of this opinion, which will also give rise to a consultation of political parties,” said Matignon.
